Mindfullness on the Trail
Everything is taken care of with pick-up and transportation upriver in a comfortable van. You will hike 6-13 km on a portion of the stunning ancient Mi’gmaq trail along the Nepisiguit River. Being a single track wooden trail, please bring adequate hiking shoes and clothing, but we can supply accessories such as hiking poles if you need them.
With many stops along the way, be enlightened on the science of happiness and about mindfulness but most importantly let your guides help you put it in practice in ideal settings along the river. Discover how your brain and body performs better in nature and bring back useful everyday tips to savor life fully. Smell the pureness of the Acadian forest, feel the power of the majestic Nepisiguit River and be awed at the diversity of flora and wildlife during your trek.
Your guides will also be more than happy to answer questions about local history and culture. We will supply healthy snacks and lunch during this refreshing educational experience.
